The third installment of Arts UpFront will take place next weekend in downtown Trenton.
Businesses and the arts will mingle once again where works by local artists will be on display next weekend.
The event will return Aug. 3, with local businesses hosting local artists for the day.
“We’ve moved this event to the August Civic Holiday weekend to take advantage of activities at the Farmer’s Market and the larger summer tourist presence,” said organizer Suzanne Simard Meloche. “We are grateful to the Front Street businesses who have opened their doors to us once again. The shops and restaurants along Front Street are a big part of downtown revitalization and we’re glad we can be part of it.”
Participating businesses this year are: Jazz Hair Studio, The Grind Coffee House, Tomasso’s, Riverside Music and Thai Sushi. Painters will include Susan Moshynski, Judy Black, Mary Britt, Chris Cromwell, Christine Pellati and Edith Kleisch; photographers taking part are Anne Pennington and Suzanne Simard Meloche. Swarovski crystal with sterling silver jewellery by Joy Wilton will also be on display. All items will be for sale.
